At the Bus station, " Gran Terminal del Caribe " in San José al final de la Calle Central there is a direct bus 5 times a day to Puerto Viejo. The trip takes about 4.5 hours. At the bus stop you already see a sign which shows the way to the Coco Loco Lodge.

This is the way by car:
After the entrance bridge to the village, 20 meters before BCR
( Bank of Costa Rica) go right and then 150 meters ahead.

Via interbus (39 USd/pers.) or taxi (200 USd) you have the possibility to reach Coco Loco Lodge directly.
Booking is available via Coco Loco Lodge or in San Jose hotels / internet / airport.Flights are available from San Jose to Limón on tuesdays, thursdays, saturdays.

Because of its geographical location, Puerto Viejo is a good starting point to visit the south Caribbean coast. The village offers a bank, post office, police, internet, medical care, supermarkets, gift shops, tour offices, taxi,
car-bike-scooter rental and Western Union...
There is a private security at night in our village bloque.
